OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission approved a 10-year property tax break Wednesday for the new $1.9 million Hasty Awards manufacturing and warehouse plan in the Davis Road Industrial Park. City commissioners said they’ll take a new look about the city’s policy about tax breaks. City manager Richard Nienstedt says the staff has already started a review of the policy and they’ll make some recommendations to commissioners soon.
