TOPEKA–It looks like the federal stimulus bill enacted a year ago is just now beginning to take full effect. The Kansas Department of Transportation says over 1000 Kansans were put to work last year because of the extra money. However, with several big projects getting underway this year, at least 3300 jobs should be generated.
