TOPEKA — Sales tax collections continue to sag for cities and counties. The Kansas Department of Revenue says for the fiscal year to date, Ottawa’s sales tax has dropped over 5 percent. Franklin County’s tax revenues have declined 8.7 percent. The fiscal year runs from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010.
