OTTAWA — It’s a happy birthday for Joni Scribner. And for her birthday, a brand new house. Franklin County Habitat for Humanity will have a dedication ceremony tonight at 5:30 for Scribner’s new house at 727 S. Sycamore St. Habitat’s Lisa Rivers said Scribner and her six-year-old twins have worked hard to help build the house. Teachers at Eisenhower Elementary School, where Scribner works, came to help with the house on weekends, she said. The project was the fastest home-building project done by Habitat in Franklin County, she said. Habitat is now looking for a new family for its next building project.
