WINFIELD — The deadline for the Kansas Voices writing contest is March 15. There is an adult division for poetry and short stories and a youth category for writers 18 and younger for poetry and short stories. The only requirement is that the writers live in Kansas. There are cash prizes for top winners. Kansas Voices is sponsored by the Winfield Arts and Humanities Council and winners will be honored at a dinner in Winfield on May 1.
