CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — The United Soybean Board has picked the U.S. Soybean Export Council to do international marketing of U.S. soy. The sales job includes a new model that brings soybean farmers into more contact in the marketing efforts, said Illinois soybean farmer and USB chairman Phil Bradshaw. The U.S. will export more soybeans because the world demand for soy for food and industrial applications is predicted to increase, he said. That’s why the marketing changes are so important, he said.
