LAWRENCE–If you’re going to Lawrence tomorrow to see the annual showdown between K-U and K-State, along with all the cars there will be lots of Highway Patrol troopers roaming about. They will help with traffic control and security at the game. After the game, the Highway Patrol will be doing a saturation patrol in Lawrence to discourage reckless driving. They’ll be checking especially for drunk drivers and children not secured in safety seats. The game tomorrow is another milestone….it marks the 100th consecutive meeting between the two teams.
