MOUND CITY–An eldery Mound City woman was injured in a one car crash in Linn County this morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 77 year old Orie E Whitson was driving south on K-7 about 7 miles south of Mound City when she went into the west ditch, and struck several culverts. Whitson was taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott….no other details of her condition are available. The accident happened about 9:55 this morning.
