OVERBROOK–A new soccer field will be presented to Overbrook tomorrow. The city of Overbrook and Overbrook, INC have received donations from PepsiCo Frito-Lay in Topeka to get the new sports facility underway. The soccer field will be mid-size, can be played as a single 80-yard field or two smaller fields for younger age divisions. This addition will open soccer for both fall and spring seasons. The project began in 2008 and will host several games before and after the dedication tomorrow, including games between Santa Fe Trail soccer team, Lyndon and Osage City teams throughout the fall.
