OTTAWA — Call it the RMH Family Birth Place. Hospital officials offered a public open house for the new obstetrics wing Wednesday night and unveiled the new wing’s name. Hospital chief finance director Dean Ohmart said there was a packed house for the open house, including several women who will likely get a closer experience with one of the birthing suites. The birthing suites should be available Friday, he said. The addition is part of a series of expansions and renovations at the hospital lasting through next year.
