OTTAWA — The deadline is Friday to apply to be a Franklin County Habitat for Humanity family. Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are sold to the partner family at no profit and with no interest. Habitat considers three factors: a family’s actual housing need; current income and ability to pay for a Habitat house, and willingness to participate as a sweat-equity “partner” with Habitat.
