BALDWIN–In what amounts to a Republican takeover of just about everything in Kansas government…in the 10th District State House Race Terri Lois Gregory of Baldwin, A Republican, yesterday defeated Democratic Incumbent Tony Brown, also of Baldwin. The total vote tally gives Gregory 4075 votes and Brown with 3576 votes. The 10th district covers the southern part of Lawrence, Baldwin City, Wellsville and the northern part of Ottawa. Brown actually won in Douglas County, but a surge in Franklin County votes for Gregory overcame any advantage Brown had elsewhere.
