OTTAWA — The newest member of the Ottawa Youth in Government, BriAnna Stephenson, was sworn in by city finance director Scott Bird at Wednesday night’s Ottawa City Commission meeting. Ottawa teens who take part in Youth in Government serve as the voice of youth on area government boards and commissions. e program has become a model for other cities.
