WASHINGTON — Another giant egg producer is recalling eggs and has expanded its recall for salmonella contamination. Some of the eggs being recalled by Cal-Maine foods were sold in Kansas, the Kansas Department of Agriculture said. The more than 24,000 dozen of recalled eggs were sold under the name of Sunny Meadow, James Farms, Sun Valley, Pippin and Springfield Grocers. The company said the eggs being recalled came from its supplier Ohio Farms from a Green Forest, Ark., facility. The company said if you have some of the recalled eggs, you should return them to where you bought them. The recalled eggs will have a plant number of 1457, followed by the Uulian dates of 282, 284 or 285 behind the plant number.
