OTTAWA — Lift your pinkie and prepare for fine dining. Meet your maitre d’ – school superintendent Dean Katt. Food service director Marcia Servatius has presented a plan to improve the dining experience at Ottawa High School while encouraging more students to eat lunch – and bringing in more reimbursements for school lunches, Katt said. “It will be a great thing,” Katt said. By buying more equipment and changing some procedures, the food service crews will be able to take orders for sandwiches, soups and other specialty foods and make them while the students are waiting, he said. The school board has approved her plans, Katt said.
