OTTAWA — The city will give a special, low-interest $20,000 loan to Car Star owners Dannie and Annette Burnett for their building in the 100 block of North Main Street.
The money comes from a city revolving loan fund, said Scott Bird, city finance director. The city originally received a state grant to help build the Sears store and as it was repaid, the city reloaned the money to other businesses.
