OTTAWA — It’s official. County public works Jim Haag said that the Montana Road project between the new U.S. 59 interchange and Sand Creek road is done. State officials, the contractor, and he went over the final list of items to be done and they have been completed satisfactorily, Haag said. The state and county shared the costs of paving the nearly one-mile stretch because heavy truck traffic had damaged the road.
