Ottawa police were dispatched to a disturbance Thursday in which a female was injured. The suspect, Andrew Bailey, attempted to escape police custody but was later apprehended by officers. According to police, the female was held against her will in a residence. She was treated at Ransom Memorial Hospital for a possible facial fracture.
During the investigation, officers discovered items used to produce methamphetamines. The original case as well as the drug case are still under investigation. Bailey is being held at Franklin County Jail on $75,000 bond.
