OTTAWA — Ottawa city commissioners say they’ll continue talking about a proposal to set aside money for future parks. City manager richard nienstedt says the idea of a capital outlay fund for new parks has been kicked around for a couple of years but will still be discussed in the future. That would ensure that any new housing developments would have new neighborhood parks, one of the more popular amenities that attract new families to town, he said.
