TOPEKA–If the Kansas economy is recovering from the recession, it sure is slow about it. In fact, that seems to be the case nationwide. The state unemployment rate for November was 6.7%, up from 6.4% in October. Locally, Franklin County’s November Unemployment stood at 7.2%, down from 7.3% in October. Anderson County was 7.2%, up from 7.0%. Linn County’s jobless rate was 8.6%, up from 8.0% the previous month. Miami County stood at 7.1%, up from 6.7%. Osage County in November had 7.8% unemployment, up from 7.0% in October.
