GARNETT–With the voters of Anderson County passing the new school bond, it’s to the drawing boards for the USD 365 School Board. According to the “Anderson County Review”, Board Members are expected to approve a schematic drawing of the new elementary school. A schematic drawing, according to Superintendent Don Blome, is a drawing that shows the basics of what a building would look like. Once the drawing is approved, the project will move to design and development. Those drawings are expected to be shown on January 21st. Meanwhile, the school board is also working on finding the location of the new elementary school. Construction is expected to begin in mid-spring.
