WASHINGTON — Whole Foods Market is recalling assembled ginger bread houses sold in several states including kansas. All of the ginger bread houses being recalled came from its supplier, Rolf’s Patisserie of Lincolnwood, Ill. The recalled ginger bread houses were assembled, decorated and packaged in clear plastic wrap and sold with a Whole Foods Market label; but may also have the label “Rolf’s Patisserie.” The recall includes all ginger bread houses made by Rolf’s Patisserie after Nov. 1. Several products produced by Rolf’s Patisserie have been connected to several outbreaks of staphylococcus aureus food poisoning. However, there have been no reports of food poisoning from ginger bread houses sold by Whole Foods Market. If you bought one of the ginger bread houses, you can return it where you bought it for a full refund. The stores have posted to notify customers of this recall.
