MANHATTAN – Area students have been named 2011 fundraising co-chairs or to the board for K-State Pproud. The campaign is the first, all-university, student-led campaign at Kansas State and seeks to raise $100,000. Among the campaign co-chairs are Becky Sullivan, Paola senior in agricultural communications and journalism, and Ariel Sinha, Gardner junior in public relations. Ottawa student Abby Guenther has been named to next year’s advisory board. K-State Proud is a student group based in the KSU Foundation that offers help to fellow students through challenging and difficult times.
