WELLINGTON — There’s at least one school board race, and that’s in Wellsville USD 289. Two people have filed for the at-large Position 7, incumbent Vicki Bohi and challenger Don Wahlen. Incumbents Fred Schnoke and Carrie Meyer have filed for other district seats and are unopposed so far. Outside of the Wellsville school district and Ottawa, less than a handful of candidates have filed for school and city positions in Franklin County. The deadline is noon Jan. 25.
