OTTAWA–If you want to help the families of two deserving young children, you might note this. An organization called “Professionals Helping Children” is sponsoring a fundraiser for 9 year old David Born and 8 year old Madi Smith. David is a quadriplegic, and Madi is suffering from a brain tumor. A breakfast at Applebees will be held a week from Saturday, January 29, from 8 to 10, and it will include all you can eat pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee. Tickets are $5.00, and children under 2 are free. You can also make donations to a special account at Peoples Bank. For more information, you can email prohelpchild@hotmail.com.
