OTTAWA–Franklin County Sheriff’s Officers are somewhat amazed but relieved at the lack of accidents in the mid-week snowstorm. Under-sheriff Steve Lunger says that an injury accident did send two people to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, and four others with minor injuries to Ransom Memorial Hospital Lunger did not have a condition report on those taken to Overland Park Regional. He says normally, officers are out all over the place working accidents.
