OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie City Council awarded the Streetscape repair project to Orr Wyatt Streetscapes Thursday night. The $930,000 project will redo Pacific Avenue from 12th to 14th streets, 14th Street from Pacific Avenue to Main Street, and Brown Avenue from 14th to 16th streets. Most of the cost will be paid by a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant and a low-interest federal loan. Work will start this spring and will take about four months.
