COLONY — A Colony city council member running for re-election faces another date besides election day – and that date is in Anderson County District Court. Council member Steven Wallace has been charged with distribution of marijuana and two counts of contributing to a child’s misconduct. His arraignment on Feb. 22. The Anderson County Review reported that two other members of his family — Gene Wallace and Ashton Wallace — face related marijuana charges. Steven Wallace is also accused of offering marijuana to two teenagers.
