OTTAWA — The Ottawa Recreation Commission has postponed the ceremony honoring Don and Aileen Woodward and originally scheduled for tonight at the Woodward Center, 517 E. Third. The Woodward family cancelled and the ceremony will be rescheduled, recreation director Therron Dieckmann said. The ORC plans to present a large, framed picture of the Woodwards to their sons. The picture will hang at the Woodward Center. Dieckmann said the picture and ceremony is designed to remember the Woodwards’ giant impact on the city’s recreation program.
