OTTAWA-Despite a tough economy, it was a good year for United Way of Franklin County. During a short meeting Thursday night at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Campaign Administrator Tressa Roecker said the 2010 goal had actually been exceeded. The goal was $133,000 and came up with $140,000. The 2011 goal is $135,000.
