OTTAWA — Ottawa police fielded several incidents that resulted in arrests for battery over the weekend. Ottawa police said a 24-year-old Ottawa woman reported she was battered by someone she knew occurring in the 500 block of North Hickory Street early Saturday morning. Ottawa police said Mary Price, 21, Ottawa; was booked into the Franklin County jail in connection with a battery of another Ottawa woman in the 1300 block of South Olive Street Saturday afternoon. Julian Howard, 36, Ottawa; was booked in connection with a battery of a 35-year-old Ottawa woman in the 600 block of North Main Saturday. Ottawa police said Dillion Leach, 33, Ottawa; was jailed Sunday on suspicion of criminal damage to property, domestic battery, and criminal restraint. Police said he was also booked on suspicion of aggravated assault from a previous case. A 27-year-old Ottawa man reported another man hit him. Police said they arrested 23-year-old Dorzell Owens, Overbrook; in connection with the case Sunday. He was released on a signature bond promising to appear in court.
