The grim budgetary crisis in the Ottawa school district is coming home to roost in a very personal way. Last night an informational meeting was held at Eisenhower school to get input on district plans to close the school to save money. About 90 people turned out for the meeting. The board plans to hold a public hearing on the closing of the school March 9. It is estimated that closing Eisenhower will save the district almost half a million dollars.
