LOUISBURG — Jon Reedy and Beverly Shane were knocked out of the Louisburg USD 416 at-large position of the school board. Those candidates who remain in the running for the general election are Jerry Flanagan, 157 votes; Rusty Meigs, 134; and Shawn Lowry, 125. Reedy had 119 votes and Shane 85. There was also a primary for an at-large position on the Louisburg City Council. Shawn Unthank, 162 votes; Steve Town, 147; and Terry Yeager, 20; will be on the general election ballot in April. Timothy Walton, 20 votes; and Wylie Frazier, 10; were knocked off the ballot.
