HAYS — The Kansas Women’s Leadership Conference will be April 1 at Fort Hays State University. Vanderbilt University professor Bonnie Dow will talk women’s changing roles in political leadership in the 21st century. The other keynote speaker is basketball star Jackie Stiles, who played pro women’s basketball and set the single-game high school record – 71 points — while playing for Claflin. Men from the Fort Hays Interfraternity Council will talk about taking part in “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes,” an international march by men to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
