OTTAWA — One question on the minds of many people at Tuesday night’s candidate forum at the County Annex was what is going to happen to Eisenhower Elementary School in Ottawa? David Mason owns a home healthcare agency in Ottawa, and is a candidate for the Ottawa school, and he said there ought to be better ways to make cuts than closing schools. Most of the school board candidates say they don’t like closing Eisenhower either, but couldn’t see what else can be done.
