GARNETT – The U.S. Census Bureau says Anderson County’s population dropped by just eight people over the past 10 years. The Anderson County Review reported that the loss was less than Census experts had predicted for the county. Anderson County’s population in the 2010 Census was 8,102. The Census Bureau had expected the county’s population to fall to 7,900.
