LAWRENCE — Kansas University is ordering 10 KU students studying in Japan to return home. Ku said it issued its order because of a travel warning issued by the U.S. State Department because of the worsening nuclear crisis. KU policy does not permit study-abroad programs to operate in countries where State Department travel warnings have been issued. KU has notified all the students and is helping them make travel arrangements.
