GREELEY–A Greeley Elementary teacher is the recipient of a grant. Tim Bremerman, a P.E. teacher received a “Healthy Habits for Life Grant” from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation. The $992.38 grant will go to educate students to have healthy eating and activity habits. This grant was one of 112 grants distributed during the 2010-2011 school year, totaling to $108,066.90. In order to receive the grant, the school district or private school must be located in the service area of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, which is all Kansas counties except Johnson and Wyandotte.
