TOPEKA — The Kansas Division of Emergency Management said there’s a still a good chance today for wildfires across many parts of the state. The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings Tuesday and Wednesday for parts of Kansas. A giant range fire burned 60 square miles in Stanton County in southwestern Kansas Tuesday. Eight fire departments from Butler County and the Kansas Forest Service were fighting a large grass wildfire in south-central Kansas Wednesday night.
