GARNETT– Two families will be honored for saving a church bell. John and Jeanette Lutz, and Richard and Darlena Lutz of Lutz Construction, will be honored by the Anderson County Historical Society at their annual banquet in April. The families will be recognized for the time, equipment, and talent they donated to move the bell from the former Garnett Presbyterian Church to its current location inside the Historical Society Museum. The banquet will be held at 6:30 pm April 7th at the commons area of the Anderson County Junior/Senior High School. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from any board member.
