PAOLA — Members of Paola High School’s Panther Robotics Tteam recently won top awards at the ‘For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology’ (FIRST) regional at Oklahoma City. The Panther Robotics Team captured the Regional Chairman’s Award and Beth Petelin won the Dean’s List Finalist Award. The awards are considered the most prestigious awards offered by FIRST. The Panther Robotics Team will compete in the FIRST Championship in St. Louis on April 27 to 30.
