JEFFERSON CITY, Mo–Missouri State Agriculture Officials found a case of Avian Flu at a poultry farm in southwest Missouri. The State Agriculture Department said Wednesday that a farm in Polk County was quarantined after the disease was found during routine testing. The department said it’s rare for humans to be affected by the strain of the bird flu found at the farm. State and Federal Agriculture officials are overseeing the care of the birds.
