OTTAWA — Long-time Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison Township firefighter Dave Gibbs has been named chief of the LOH department. Gibbs, who owns Gibbs Tree Service and Cal’s Overhead Doors, has been with the department more than 10 years and is an emergency medical technician and a member of the LOH dive team. His wife Lisa is also a member of the LOH department. He succeeds Jim Stonequist, whose contract as chief with the department was terminated a few weeks ago. LOH fire board chairman Butch Riddle said the department has about 20 firefighters.
