LAWRENCE — Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt will give a public lecture Thursday at the Kansas University School of Law. Schmidt, the former state senator who represented southwestern Franklin County, will speak at 12:30 p.m. in the Stinson Morrison Hecker Lecture Hall in Green Hall. A question-and-answer session will follow the talk.
