There is a very important question on the ballot that effects several local businesses. It’s called the 30% Food Rule. As of now, any business in Franklin County that sells alcohol to be consumed in house, must have 30% of house sales come from food sales. This puts a few businesses in a bit of a pinch. Not Lost Brewery owners say their main goal is to make craft beer with the hope that people could enjoy it with appetizers or order outside food. However, making that 30% requirement really puts a strain them. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock:

A “yes” vote would mean the county could opt out of the 30% rule and allow businesses not wanting to sell a lot of food, do so.
