Another way for bad guys to mess up your life. A new scam involving gmail. Many people are getting emails, apparently from Google gmail warning you that they have received complaints about your email account. It states that thousand of emails from your account were sent over a 3 day period. It then instructs you to install an antivirus program and provides a link to scan for viruses by clicking a big red button. If you receive this email, DO NOT CLICK the scan for viruses button. If you do, you will lose all access to your gmail account. At this time, there is no way to retrieve it. If you would happen to receive an email like this, don’t open it, delete it immediately.
