City of Osawatomie Public Works officials have announced that four blocks across the community will receive mill and overlay work. Beginning Monday,November 13th, 12th street from Main Street to Pacific Avenue, Parker Avenue from 8th Street to 9th Street, and 6th Street from Carr Avenue to Lincoln Avenue will receive mill and overlay work. Mill and overlay projects tend to move more quickly and officials say impact to residents should be minimal.
The final presentation for Phase II of Oz Commons will happen at tonight’s Council meeting at 6:30 in Memorial Hall. The project team will share an overview of the report and recommendations formed from community input, research, and their expertise. City officials are calling this project a critical step in turning their vision of a downtown hub from phase I into a reality.
