The 2023 General Election is in the history books, and as always there are a few surprises…….Franklin County Clerk Janet Paddock says one surprise was the turnout.
The race in Princeton she referred to was for City Council, five positions open, five names on the ballot. Carol lingo leading the race with 41 votes, however, there are 19 write in votes that need to be added to the totals that could effect the final spot on the council.
Paddock says the canvassing of the election by the Franklin County Commission will take place one week from today, November 16…………it is only after the Canvass that the election is classified as official final results.
