The annual Ottawa Veterans Day Parade was a huge success Saturday morning, November 11, in downtown Ottawa. Before the parade a ceremony was held at the Franklin County Veterans Memorial at 4th and Main, to honor all the veterans who have served our great Nation. Former City Manager Richard Nienstedt was the grand marshall of the parade. He told the crowd that it’s time to come together as a Nation.
Hundreds of people lined the streets as the parade past and many attended the activities held in City Park after. The displays will remain in the park until Friday.
