The Franklin County Public Works Department wants to reduce the miles of road slated for chip seal work in 2024. Public Works Director, David Lee, says some of the cost savings could be applied to Old 50 Highway not yet being rebuilt:
Lee says some roads that originally were on the chip seal list are actually still in fairly good condition.
